Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO)

Enrollment Options

Option A - Allows the student to choose, upon enrollment, college credit only OR both high school and college credit. Through Option A, the student is responsible for tuition, books, and fees.

Option B - Allows the student to receive both high school and college credit. Through Option B, tuition, fees, and required books are covered at public expense.

Program Guidelines

Students interested in participating in PSEO at Wright State must submit an application for admission to the program.

Application deadlines: Fall Quarter–May 15; Winter and Spring Quarters–November 1.

Students who wish to continue participation in PSEO must reapply each year by the deadline.

Students must complete placement testing in mathematics and English ONLY if they are admitted into the program.

Admission to the PSEO program does not guarantee that a student will be able to enroll in a given course or any course since the university has a primary obligation to serve the needs of the university's degree-seeking students.

Students at the Dayton campus are permitted to enroll in two courses per quarter based on the number of credit hours they are eligible to complete. Students at the Lake Campus are permitted to enroll in up to 16 credit hours per quarter based on the number of hours they are eligible to complete.

Students are responsible for consulting their high school guidance office to determine if and how courses completed through PSEO will be given credit toward high school graduation.

*Please advise students:
Both students and a parent must attend a PSEO orientation session at Wright State prior to registering for courses.
