Fitting In:
My biggest fear about starting college was leaving all my close friends. No one that I was really close with came to my school with me. I overcame this by getting involved on campus, and just being more outgoing by meeting many new people. It worked out fine because I met some individuals that I know are lifelong friends.
Outside the Classroom:
May Daze was like a fair right on campus, it allowed students to go back to their youthful days when they had very few responsibilities. Also, there was free stuff everywhere, and we all know free items on a college campus are lovely.
A Little Advice:
Take advantage of all that this campus has to offer. With the free tutoring, to the living-learning residential community, to the different campus organizations—it is taboo for someone not to have an awesome time. Just stay focused and make the best of your journey here |
