Ohio Civil Rights Commission hearing to be held -- The Ohio Civil Rights Commission will conduct a hearing from 10 a.m. to noon, May 22, at Wright State University. The claimant in this case is appealing a commission ruling on an earlier employment discrimination claim. The public is invited to the session in the university’s Student Union, Room E163 A and B. Wright State’s Lecture Series discusses keeping employees engaged -- It goes without saying that engaged employees outperform their less-involved peers, and are more likely to believe that their efforts can positively affect customer service. Engaged workers are also less likely to leave the organization or have an on-the-job accident. All this translates to a dramatic difference in bottom line results: firms with the highest engagement levels are as much as 50 percent more profitable than their lower-engagement counterparts. Yet, a recent Gallup report shows that only 29 percent of employees consider themselves highly engaged.(04/15/2008)

Come and experience a night of cultural “explorASIAN” through the performing arts on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Union Apollo Room.
