WSU student debt counseling program recognized for leadership and innovation -- Two Wright State University students presented the Wright Financial Path Student Debt Counseling Program to 250 students at the Financial Managers Association annual Student Leaders Conference in Chicago. Health care professionals from 16 counties create Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio -- In an effort to keep the growing nursing shortage from crippling the health care of the region, local bedside nurses, administrators, educators and employers from 16 area counties have joined together to create the Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio. Wright State students build their own airplane for intercollegiate contest -- Three Wright State University mechanical and materials engineering students designed and built a radio-controlled aircraft from scratch in recent competition against national and international college teams during the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) AeroDesign Competition at Daytona Beach, Fla. Wright State students launch Operation Yellow Ribbon -- Travelers driving on Kauffman Avenue in Fairborn may soon see yellow ribbons around several of the trees lining the street. Operation Yellow Ribbon has been organized by student members of the Wright State American Humanics Student Association (WSAHSA).
