WSU-Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health receives maximum accreditation -- The Wright State University-Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health received its 10-year accreditation, the maximum possible, from the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). CCNE is the only national accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education devoted exclusively to ensuring the quality of baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing. Summerbridge Dayton students to combine fitness walk, history tour in special activity on June 24 -- Obesity has become a national epidemic, especially in children. Research suggests that one of the main causes is lack of physical activity among today’s kids. Partnering with the Dayton Public Schools, Wright State University is tackling this problem with a new program that makes fitness fun and provides a local history lesson. Students in the Summerbridge Dayton enrichment program will combine fitness and history in a special project on Friday, June 24. (06/13/2005)
