Kristallnacht commemoration to be held at Wright State -- Wright State University will hold a special commemoration to mark the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht on Nov. 5. Wright State undergraduates working for NASA -- Two Wright State University students are currently working for NASA in the Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP). The program offers select students 15-week internships at one of 12 NASA space centers. Wright State awards 24 engineering and computer science scholarships -- Twenty-four of the region's best and brightest high school graduates are working side-by-side with college professors performing research while getting ahead on their engineering degrees. WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine provides hands-on training for military, civilian emergency personnel -- The exercise, part of a unique weeklong recertification course, featured a realistic simulation of a plane crash amid rugged terrain, including the use of a full-size, wrecked private plane with volunteer “victims” and high-tech, remote-controlled medical mannequins inside.(10/24/2008)

Wright State leads 1,100 campuses in national ONE Campaign to fight poverty -- The ONE Bus will roll onto Wright State’s campus Friday morning to lead the campus community in a celebration of its current first-place status in the national ONE Campus Challenge.
