Andrew Lai wins WSU International Education Award -- Andrew Lai, Ph.D., interim chair of the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management in the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University, received the International Education Award from Wright State University. (11/21/2006) Celebrate the holiday season during 24th annual WSU Madrigal Dinner -- It’s not too late to join the lords and ladies, roving musicians, marionettes, singers, dancers, court jester and the great feast that comprises Wright State University’s 24th annual Madrigal Dinner. Tickets are available for this festive, colorful holiday tradition, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7, through Sunday, Dec. 10, in the Wright State Student Union. (11/17/2006) Emerald Ash Borer destroying Ohio’s forests; WSU biologist seeks ways to control insect spread -- A Wright State University biologist is investigating ways to control the Emerald Ash Borer that is destroying forests at an alarming rate in the Midwest. State officials estimate the insect damage will cost Ohioans billions over the next decade.(11/17/2006) Wright State to hold fall commencement Nov. 18 -- Wright State University will hold its 40th semiannual commencement ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m., in the Ervin J. (11/09/2006) WSU enjoys strong enrollment growth in the last six years -- Wright State University’s enrollment growth over the last six years is greater than nine of Ohio’s 11 comprehensive public universities. According to figures provided by the Ohio Board of Regents, fall enrollment at Wright State University’s Main Campus increased from 14,493 in 2000 to 16,093 in 2006—an increase of 11 percent. (11/8/2006) Unique business trading center at Wright State earns national award for architectural design -- The MTC Technologies Trading Center, which replicates a stock market trading environment at the Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business, has been selected for a national award in classroom design.(11/1/2006)
