Head of the class: Ohio Magazine features three WSU professors -- Three faculty members from Wright State University’s College of Liberal Arts are featured in Ohio Magazine's annual Excellence in Education Recognition Program in the December issue. Martin Maner, professor of English, Sarah Twill, assistant professor of social work, and Donna Schlagheck, chair and professor of political science, were nominated for the honor by Wright State students and colleagues. They are among 139 faculty members from Ohio colleges and universities who Ohio Magazine calls “exemplary teachers…expert, enthusiastic and committed to their students.” (11/30/2007)

Carol Cornett receives International Education Award -- Carol Cornett, a lecturer in the Department of English at Wright State University, has been awarded the International Education Award from the Wright State University Center for International Education. Cornett, who directs the Learning English for Academic and Professional Purposes (LEAP) intensive English program at Wright State, received the award during a ceremony celebrating International Education Week in early November.(11/28/2007)

Wright State commencement ceremony November 17, 2007 -- Saturday will be the triple crown of graduation ceremonies for the Morris family of Bellbrook when triplets Jessica, Keith and Rachel each receive their bachelor’s degree from Wright State University at the 41st semiannual commencement ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, in the Ervin J.
