Grant Writing

Grants are a source of funding directly to organizations and can be an excellent source of specialized fundraising. Grants are frequent monetary contributions to an organization via foundations, government agencies, corporations, and other organizations. There is no repayment required, however funding is based primarily on the relationship with the funder and the grant proposal submitted. Grant writing is more than a compilation of a document, rather a process.

Why Grantors Give...

        • They are concerned about social problems, injustices, or inequities
        • They want to fill the gaps or needs of the world
        • They view grants as investments in the future
