Dr. Demmy is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Information
Systems and Operations Management at Wright State University. Dr.
Demmy has taught demand planning, supply chain management and
Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) concepts at the graduate and
undergraduate levels for over 20 years, and he has led dozens of projects
to design or evaluate changes in logistics information systems and
procedures for a variety of government and commercial consulting clients.
His work includes design and implementation of logistics system
processes, large-scale software systems, simulation models, data
warehouses, and decision support capabilities. Dr. Demmy also played
a leading role in the design of Wright State University's Master of Science
in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
Dr. Demmy is the
author of over 100 articles and technical reports, and has published in Air
Force Journal of Logistics, Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, Journal of
Cost Analysis, Management Science, Management Accounting,
Production and Inventory Management, REMAN REPORTS, and
Logistics Spectrum. He is a Certified Fellow of Production and Inventory
Management (CFPIM) and a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL). His
professional awards include the R. J. Armitage Medal, the Society of
Logistics Engineer's highest national award for contributions to logistics
literature. |
