Management
Major/Minor
[ Suggested Curriculum (PDF*) ]
Management is the process of collecting resources (money, people power, materials, machines, facilities, and time) and converting them into goods or services that are useful to society. There are proven principles and tools, but there is also plenty of room for individuality in exercising judgment, determining objectives, setting strategies, and dealing with people.
- Majoring in management is an excellent option for students who want a broad background to prepare for administrative positions in a wide range of settings.
- Management majors complete a management internship which allows qualified students to receive managerial experience and college credit.
