This innovative program allows engineering students to study music with Eastman professors to gain a better understanding of principles and properties of music while music students study engineering at the University of Rochester to better understand electronic music production and acoustics. This lecture is hosted by the Wright State University Departments of Art and Art History, and Music, and the STEAM3 class on "Teaching Science Through Music and Art" with funding through a foundation grant from Dr. Edgar Hardy. |

Come and experience for yourself the music of GIA’s African American Church Music Series—a rich legacy that is now available to all churches! This will be one of the largest choral events in our city. For the low fee of $20.00 per person, each attendee will receive a packet of music containing titles from the series in a variety of styles sure to satisfy any choir regardless of size or ability and Dr. James Abbington will lead the participants through the music. In this large group of singers, timid voices will sing out with confidence and nonreaders will benefit from singing with more experienced readers. Your music ministry will be inspired and energized by this memorable gathering of music making! Learn repertoire for the entire year and take advantage of this opportunity to expand your music library with great new titles from GIA at an extremely affordable price.
