About Scholarships

Last year, more than 78 percent of new students received a Wright State scholarship.
A scholarship is a form of financial aid that does not have to be repaid. It is often merit-based or restricted to a select population of students.

How to Apply for Scholarships
File Your FAFSA
To maximize your scholarship and financial aid eligibility, you should file the FAFSA annually.The 2025-26 and 2024–25 FAFSA forms are currently available. Submit the Wright State Scholarship Application
By submitting the Wright State online scholarship application, both undergraduate and graduate students can apply for multiple donor-based scholarships funded through the Wright State University Foundation and Wright State. For more details on possible scholarship opportunities, use the scholarship search tool.
