Welcome to the School of Professional Psychology (SOPP) at Wright State University. We have celebrated our 30th anniversary of the SOPP and the 20th anniversary of our teaching hospital and clinic, the Duke E. Ellis Human Development Institute. On October 16th we celebrated these two milestones with our first ever Black Tie Gala at the Schuster Center’s Winter Garden. Indeed, this was a wonderful way of celebrating the rich SOPP history, sharing with the community what we have to offer and at the same time raising funds for SOPP student scholarships.
In attendance was the City of Dayton Mayor, the Wright State University President and Provost as well as many distinguished guest from the community, the University and many of our graduate students. Plans are underway to host similar events for many years to come with the common goal--to raise funds for student scholarships.
The brilliance, expertise and richness of our SOPP continue to lead by example in the community, nationally as well as within our university. Many of our faculty and students continue to receive prestigious awards for their innovative research, ground breaking clinical programs and our cutting edge diversity model. We will continue to be one of our nation’s best Schools of Professional Psychology.
I welcome you to contact us if you would like more information on our programs, doctoral program, and faculty research.
All the best,
