Scholarships
There are a wide range of scholarships for students in all areas of Acting,
Musical Theatre, Design/Technology, Theatre Studies, Dance and Motion Pictures,
based on talent, academic accomplishment, and need.
Such scholarships include:
- The Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson Scholarship
- The Augsburger/Estevez Scholarship created by Martin Sheen
- The Theatre Arts Talent Scholarship
- The Rising Star Scholarship
as well as numerous other individual scholarships based on the area of study. While competition for these scholarships is keen, the department has a generous policy of supporting qualifed students throughout their four years of study, for students in the region, the state, and across the country, to enable students to complete their studies at Wright State University.
