Transfer Credit and Applicability of Your Transfer Credit
Did you know that there is a difference between the phrases transfer credit and applicability of transfer credit?
Did you know that your transfer credit might not apply directly toward your major?
This section will answer some of the transfer myths that you might have.
Transfer Credit—Transfer credit means that the credit hours from another school will be added to the total hours at Wright State. Your credit will “transfer” as long as your school and courses meet certain criteria (visit the FAQ for more information).
Applicability—Application of transfer credit means that the credit hours from another school will count toward your degree at Wright State. The applicability of your eligible transfer credits depends on:
- Course equivalencies
previously established between schools
- Decisions made by academic advisors
- Decisions made by each major/college
