Students who take courses at Wright State without enrolling in a degree program are considered transient/non-degree students. If you are taking a course to apply toward a degree at another school, you fit into this category.
Wright State academic advising is not available to transient/non-degree students.
However, this website will provide you with information you can use to get started:
- Talk to your advisor at your current school about your course at Wright State.
(Access our course descriptions from the Additional Resources section on the right)
- Make sure Wright State’s credit will be accepted by your current school.*
- Download a Non-Degree Student Application Form (PDF).
-
Check out course offerings through the Registrar’s website.
- Learn about how to order your Wright State transcript while in the Registrar’s website.
- Visit the Bursar’s website about fee payments.
- Learn the location of your course by downloading a campus map.
*Wright State is regionally accredited by North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Note: Wright State is on the quarter system, so most of our courses earn 4 quarter hours of credit (which translates as less
than 3 semester hours of credit).
Attention:
Transient/Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. If you are interested in a financial aid, you must apply to Wright State as a degree-seeking student.
