You can learn how to serve as a teacher leader in your school, in an official or unofficial capacity, in Wright State’s teacher leader endorsement program. The course content and fieldwork of the program will help you gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to perform at the distinguished level, as described in the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession. Work with adult learners, facilitating and leading change, managing conflict, and coaching and mentoring teachers at all stages in their careers. You will learn how to assist principals in developing and supporting a shared vision and clear goals for schools. You can complete this program in two semesters.
