National Day of Truth and Reconciliation – or Orange Shirt Day – is a day of remembrance commemorating the history of the Indigenous boarding schools and their legacies in North America. It is a federal holiday in Canada, but widely recognized by Native Nations located within the United States as well. You are invited to wear orange and join us at the Culture and Identity Centers at 4pm for a group photo.

No orange? The ANA Center and IACSA can help with that! Watch out for us tabling throughout September, selling t-shirts, orange shirt pins, and paper shirts you can write messages on. All sales benefit the Native Student Scholarship Fund.
