Book Talk & Signing: Katharine, the Wright Sister, by Tracey Enerson Wood

Book jacketTracey Enerson Wood’s fourth historical novel, Katharine, The Wright Sister, shines a light on Katharine Wright, the unsung hero behind the groundbreaking aeronautical achievements of her brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright. The book delves into the incredible risks and sacrifices of family devoted to each other and their dream.

Wood discovers amazing women whose stories have been lost to history and brings them to life for today’s readers. Her previous novel, The President’s Wife, tells the tale of Edith Bolling Wilson and her whirlwind romance and marriage to Woodrow Wilson.

Her debut novel, The Engineer’s Wife, is based on Emily Warren Roebling, the woman who completed the Brooklyn Bridge despite tremendous obstacles. The War Nurse recounts the unforgettable story of Julia Stimson and her nurses in WWI France.
