Did you know most new year’s resolutions only last 3 weeks? If your goal is to keep moving to a healthier lifestyle, we are here for you!

In coordination with Healthy Heart Month we are energizing our campus to make Wright State a healthier place! In coordination with the Health & Wellness Task Force, Campus Recreation, & the Women's Center Love and Move Your Body Week, we want YOU to keep your body moving!

Registration: January 6 - January 24 online at Rec.wright.edu

Challenge Dates: January 20 - Feb 28 (6 weeks)

How it works: Choose your dream Spring Break destination (You don't have to actually travel -- this is for fun!). Determine the number of miles to get to your Spring Break destination. Your goal over this 6-week challenge is to participate in physical activity for the same number of minutes as miles it would take to get to your destination. 1 minute = 1 mile. If you 'reach' your dream destination (complete your goal for minutes of activity) by February 28, you'll earn this year's exclusive challenge sticker!

For example:

Destination -- Miles from WSU AND Total minutes of activity -- of minutes per week over the 6-week challenge
Nashville, TN -- 330 Miles (330 minutes during the challenge) -- 55 minutes/week
Panama City Beach, FL -- 800 Miles (800 minutes during the challenge) -- 133 minutes/week
Miami, FL -- 980 Miles (980 minutes during the challenge) -- 163 minutes/week
The Bahamas -- 1108 Miles (1108 minutes during the challenge) -- 185 minutes/week

Details: We will share an electronic form for each participant to list their goal and self-track their progress. You will choose your own name if you wish to remain anonymous. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate.
