The largest gathering of transgender people in the Midwest, the TransOhio Trans & Ally Symposium began as a one day event in 2008, attended by less than 100 people. The symposium has grown to a 3 day conference with over 300 participants, 75+ workshops, entertainment, food, and continuing education credits for medical, legal, and social work professionals.
