Physics Seminar double header: Two talks on results from the James Webb Space Telescope

The Physics seminar this week will meet on Friday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m.  You can join online at this link:  https://wright.webex.com/meet/sarah.tebbens

We will watch presentations from two early career scientists who presented at the "Next in Science: James Webb Space Telescope" symposium held at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute on April 4, 2024.  Each presentation is about 25 minutes.

The first speaker will be Dr. Sierra Grant, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (Germany)  who will be presenting (pre-recorded) "Building New Worlds:  Witnessing Star and Planet formation with JWST."

The second speaker will be Dr. Caroline Morley, Assistant Professor at the Department of Astronomy, University of Texas, who will be presenting (pre-recorded) "A glimpse into alien worlds: The first 1.5 years of studying exoplanet atmospheres with the JSWT."
