Pre-Med Society: Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine

The Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine is a public medical school that focuses specifically on podiatric medicine. This field of medicine is not very well known, yet growing and offers tremendous opportunities to students interested in becoming a doctor.

The representative will give a brief presentation about podiatric medicine today, the education it involves, the academic requirements, financial aid, and the areas a podiatrist goes into. These include the following: Primary care, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Surgery, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and Biomechanics.
