The ANA Center and IACSA welcome Cherokee artisan Renata Cauthon of the Sovereignty Collective for a build-your-own medicine bags workshop. In addition to instruction for beading the leather bags, they will share about Indigenous medicine and healing practices. Participants are encouraged to bring their own medicines (ie. cedar, sage, sweetgrass, corn, tobacco) or items that have special meaning for them to fill their medicine bags.
WSU student and staff participants will receive a kit with all of the supplies at no cost - space is limited to 20, so please RSVP here on Engage to save your spot!
