Success Stories

Jennifer Rorex

Jennifer Rorex, M.D. ’20

Dr. Rorex is a dermatology resident physician at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. As a medical student, she published a manuscript targeted at underrepresented students and the pursuit of dermatology residency. Being on the other side of the process, she continues to enjoy mentoring all students with an interest in dermatology.

Noor Saeed

Noor Saeed, M.D., 18

Dr. Saeed is currently a pediatrics resident at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She served as a student representative on four steering committees for the new WrightCurriculum. As PRIDE education chair, she planned events on sexual health topics to prepare for unique challenges faced by patients, which ultimately allows us to provide higher quality care.

 

Ulysses Gardner, M.D., M.B.A. 21

Dr. Gardner is completing a transitional year residency at Kettering Health and a radiation oncology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. As a medical student, he was actively involved in BSOM Student National Medical Association and volunteered with several organizations in the local community.
