Outdoor Resource Center Equipment Rental

Outdoor Resource Rentals are open to all students, faculty, staff, Alumni Association members, and Retiree Association members with the presentation of a valid Wright1 Card. The rental program is open to the public at a slightly higher rental rate.
 

Reservations

  • No reservations can be made without payment.
  • Reservations are made in-person during our open hours at the Outdoor Resource Center in 037 Student Union.

Bicycle Rentals

Campus Recreation offers daily bicycle rentals at no cost to Wright State University students, staff, & faculty. Bicycles are Trek Dual Sport 1's. Rentals come with a helmet, storage bag, and lock.

Essential Eligibility Criteria:

  • Riders must be able to independently ride a bicycle without assistance.
  • Riders must be able to recognize and interpret risks and dangers.
  • Riders must be able to dress appropriately and use appropriate safety gear including helmets.

Bicycle Usage:

  • Riders must keep bicycles stored safely away from possible theft, by using included locks or stored in a private locked room. 
  • Bicycles must be turned in 15 minutes before close of Campus Recreation Fitness Center. Facility hours can be found here.  Riding after dark is not allowed with rental bikes. Bicycles are rented on a daily basis. No overnight rentals except for extenuating circumstances. 
  • Riders must wear helmets at all times.
  • Rider is responsible for personal and financial responsibility for bicycle. If bicycle is damaged or stolen, rider is responsible for replacement fees. Replacement fee's will be added to Wright State account.
  • Renters are limited to WSU students, staff, & faculty, however, guests may rent bicycle by paying a $5 guest fee. Guests must be accompanied by a student, staff, or faculty member. Student, staff, or faculty member is responsible for associated fee's if items are lost or stolen.

3) Fill out Bicycle Rental Agreement
4) Pass Bicycle Safety Quiz

6) Return Bicycle and accessories at least 15 minutes before close of Fitness Center
