Policies and Procedures
Campus Recreation Equipment Rental / Check Out Policies
Campus Recreation rental equipment is available to all current Wright State University students, faculty and staff with a valid Wright 1 Card, recreation center affiliate members and external events contracted through Event Services. For events using reservable spaces, please request equipment at the time of registration/reservation. If your event is not registered please allow at least a week in advance through this form. Individual use equipment (e.x. Basketballs) can be checked out at the recreation desk on a first come first available service. View a complete list of equipment.
All equipment rentals may be checked out during open hours and must be returned by the end of the business day, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please allow AT LEAST 15 MINUTES for equipment inspection when returning rentals. A valid Wright1 Card and a signature is required for checking out equipment.
RETURNS, REPAIRS & LOST ITEMS: All items must be free of any abnormal wear and tear when returned. Any item deemed to be damaged beyond the normal wear and tear of equipment use or is lost, will be subject to a fee up to the full cost of replacing the item.
LATE FEE: There will be a $5 late fee plus an additional $5 per day up to the full value of replacing the item. In addition, a hold on your Campus Rec Membership will prevent any future equipment check out until equipment is returned and/or fees are paid. Any unpaid fees are subject to being sent to the office of Wright State Community Standards and Student Conduct.
