MORE EARNING POTENTIAL AND OPPORTUNITIES

Earn more over a lifetime

The average graduate with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university will earn approximately $1 million more during his or her lifetime than an individual with only a high school diploma.

Contribute more to your community

Each graduate who has a bachelor’s degree will, during the course of his or her lifetime, contribute about $278,000 more to their local economies than their peers who have only high school degrees, and almost $200,000 more than those who have associate degrees.

Get a head start with College Credit Plus

College Credit Plus is an innovative program that allows college-ready students to earn college credit while still in high school. Many College Credit Plus students enroll in online learning courses. Nearly 65,000 Ohio students have taken advantage of this program, resulting in tuition savings of more than $262 million.

Plan for your future

By 2025, two-thirds of Ohio jobs will require a postsecondary certificate or degree. If you have a college degree, you’re one-third less likely to be unemployed.

Low tuition and scholarships

We can help you with financial aid

We offer a variety of financial aid packages to reduce your out-of-pocket costs. On average, nearly 70 percent of all Wright State students are awarded some form of financial aid each year.

Plenty of Scholarship Opportunities

We have numerous scholarship opportunities, with awards ranging from $500 to $20,000. Last year alone, we offered more than $27 million in student scholarships.

One of the lowest state tuitions

Wright State’s quality education is also affordable. Our tuition is among the lowest in Ohio for four-year universities.
