Military Credit
Thank you for your service. Wright State is home to many military service members, veterans, and their families. We value your prior military training, experience, and coursework.
Wright State accepts credit from all branches of the United States military. However, it is important to know the difference between transferability and applicability of transfer credits.
Transferability means any eligible military training, experience, and coursework for credit will be posted to your Wright State transcript.
Applicability means the transfer credits posted to your Wright State transcript will apply toward your degree. The applicability of credit is dependent upon previously established course equivalencies, statewide policies, and evaluations by academic advisors or faculty. Credits may be transferable, but may not be applicable to your degree requirements at Wright State.
Military transcripts are not required (except Community College of the Air Force and Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center) for an admission decision. However, we recommend you submit them for credit evaluation.
Visit the Veteran and Military Center Transcript Requests page for more information on how to order your military transcripts.
