Tell us more about you and your life, your profession, and your successes.
I am a recent graduate living in New York City. I recently finished touring with Kinky Boots, and now I am in the city auditioning and getting myself set up in the industry!
What is your favorite Wright State memory?
Marya Spring Cordes pulling me into her office and telling me that I had no business accepting mediocrity from myself. She encouraged me to pursue writing, and reminded me that I am a force to be reckoned with when I apply myself and take ownership of my work.
What did receiving the ARTSGALA scholarship mean to you?
It relieved the financial burden of college in a way that allowed me to devote all my time to school, so I could really focus on my education.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I would not be the artist I am today without the faculty of the department of theatre, dance, and motion pictures, and I am so grateful for their guidance and teaching.
