Know Before You Go

Start your college career on the right foot by attending these memorable and informative sessions essential to your college success. Before First Friday, August 23, all students should download the CORQ app. CORQ is powered by Engage, Wright State's student engagement platform, and is where you can find your comprehensive First Weekend schedule.

All incoming students should attend First Weekend, especially First Friday, August 23. First Weekend is a crucial component in your transition to Wright State, and it is full of useful activities, events, and information sessions to help you acclimate to campus. Please plan work and other activities to not conflict with your ability to attend First Weekend.

circle-check Check-In

Check In will begin at 9 a.m. for all first year students. Residential students will be guided by their RA to the event. Commuter students can park in lot 6, 7, 10 or 14. Students will check in with their college to receive a t-shirt, name tag, and drawstring bag. Be sure to download the CORQ app and check in with your event pass.

utensils First Weekend Meals

Resident meal plans begin when the student moves on campus. Commuters who wish to purchase a meal plan can do so starting on Tuesday, August 1 through WINGS or purchase meals at the register using cash or credit. Lunch on Friday, August 23 is complimentary.
