Dr. Gruber retired from medicine and moved to 35 beautiful acres in Sylva, NC. He gained so many new friends there. He loved farming, fishing, antiquing, cooking, woodworking, beekeeping, hosting dinner parties, and dancing with his friends. He passed away Jan. 5, 2021, after complications developed from COVID-19.
