The talk will be by Dr. Geoffrey Hinton (pre-recorded). The talk was originally presented in 2018 when he was one of three awardees of the Turing Award and is titled "The Deep Learning Revolution." Hinton is well-known for his work on automatic classification of images.
 

Hinton shared the 2018 award with two others in recognition of their advances to the field of machine learning. Hinton's award was "For conceptual and engineering breakthroughs that have made deep neural networks a critical component of computing."
