
Brady M. Allen, 54, passed away in his home in Dayton on March 8, 2025. Brady was born to Harley and Barbara Allen on Nov. 4, 1970, and grew up living in Waynesville, Ohio.
He worked as an English professor at a public university for many years, beloved by countless students. Author of Back Roads & Frontal Lobes, he was a brilliant writer and storyteller. He made sure everybody knew about his love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cincinnati Reds, and Waylon Jennings through his dozens of ball caps and t-shirts.
Brady lives on through his daughters, Marli (Skye) and Violet Allen; his grandson, Conall; his parents, Harley and Barbara Allen; his sister, Cynthia Schector; his niece, Katherine Glazier; and his soul dog, Raven.
A graveside ceremony is scheduled for March 17, at 2 p.m., at Woodland Cemetery; those wanting to attend should arrive at 1:15 p.m. at 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439 for the procession.
