Carolyn Ann Baker, 75, of Fairborn, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Soin Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 22, 1947, in Dayton to the late Gaily and Lula (Gray) Wagers. She is also preceded in death by her husband Gerald Baker and sister-in-law Rena Wagers.
Carolyn is survived by her brothers Gary (Susan) Wagers and Gaily J Wagers, by her sister Betty (Don Lynch) Wagers and Verna Thomas. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Chris (Mikayla) Wagers, Tina (Mike) Mason, Wayne Wagers and Heather (Wyatt) Wessels. Along with great nieces and nephews Arianna Wagers, Lincoln Brunette, Sara Harley, Quintin Piatt, Mitchell Wagers, McKenna Wagers, Morgan Wessels, Tonya Terwilleger, and Melissa Vitale.
Carolyn was a 1966 graduate of Fairborn High School. She worked at Wright State University as a billing clerk. She loved to cook, loved her dogs and cats and really enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home in Fairborn, on August 26, with Pastor Don Payne officiating. The burial was at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio.
