Our angel received her wings after 88 years on earth. Janavee Williams took her flight on March 3, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born in 1927 to Malcolm Smith and Sarah Combs Smith in Emmalena, KY. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, four sisters, great granddaughter Lyla Kay and her beloved husband Earl. She is survived by siblings Carol Clevenger, Sharon Kidd, and Edward Smith. Her proudest achievement was her four children George (Cherilee), Earl (Mary), Susan (Steve Homan) and Michael (Kay). She leaves eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends whom she loved dearly.
She retired from Wright State University after twenty-two years of service. She was an avid reader, amateur gardener and appreciated old westerns. She taught us to trust in God, always have time for family and friends and to be kind to everyone.
