JoAnn Topmiller, 88, Secretary, College of Science & Mathematics, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
She was born on April 4, 1930, in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Arthur Schwab and Mildred Louise (Buell) Ranke. JoAnn graduated from Hamilton High School.
She married Dr. Donald A. Topmiller on June 10, 1950, in Hamilton, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2012. JoAnn worked as a secretary at Wright State University for 17 years
She is survived by her children, Steven (Beth) Topmiller and Gregory (Dr. Marjorie Gwynn) Topmiller; grandchildren, Grantland, Alexander, Eric, and Andrew; siblings, Charles (Jimmie) Ranke, Ruth (Peter) Spada, Lois (Alvin) Weaver, Arthur (Reba) Ranke, and Barbara (Robert) Schoenfeld. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Helen and Betty.
