Patsy Lou Wilson Falkner, 84, was born on May 4, 1933 at home, Glomawr, Perry County, Ky., to parents Richard Rickett and Troy Gibson Rickett.
Her early childhood was spent in Tinsley, Ky. She came to Dayton in 1944 and received her high school diploma at Northridge H.S. in June 1950.
In 1967 she began her higher education at Sinclair CC and completed her undergraduate degree at Wright State University. She became a graduate assistant earning an MBA in Marketing at Wright State University in June 1973. She taught undergraduate marketing and management classes at the WSU School of Business as an adjunct faculty.
From 1973 to 1984 she held administrative positions in the School of Education and Office of the Registrar at WSU. From 1984 to 1994 she was the Director of Registration and Records at Sinclair CC from which she retired.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Falkner, two sons, David Keith Wilson, D.Mus., Berkeley, CA, and Norman Clark (Lynelle Lyons-Wilson) Wilson, Hamilton, OH and two granddaughters, Alexandria Wilson (Darius) Emmanuel, Cincinnati, and Samantha Wilson, Sioux Falls, SD and sister Wilma Rickett (Art) Panesis, Cape Coral, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Emma Rickett (John) Lamb. A private family memorial service is planned. Her cremains will be buried in the Rockafield Cemetery, Wright State University.
