“I had no idea the shot clock was off and I couldn’t hear my dad,” TJ recalled the other day. “I was focused and wanted to score so bad.”

Wright State will be idle 10 days between its last regular-season game and the Horizon League semifinals Monday.

Wright State (25-6, 15-3) also clinched the top seed in the upcoming Horizon League tournament with the program’s first-ever outright conference championship.
