Wednesday is the ninth day of the strike. The longest strike in higher education last year lasted 11 days.
“We acknowledge that there have been disruptions in your classes," Provost Susan Edwards told students.
“There’s nothing to announce or report…we’ll continue to work on it,” said board chairman Doug Fecher at the conclusion of the meeting.
Rudy Fichtenbaum, chief negotiator for AAUP-WSU, said he was feeling "cautiously optimistic" heading into Monday night's meeting.
During the SERB hearing, an attorney for the administration reported only 40 percent of last week’s union classes had replacement instructors.
Members from the administration and the Wright State Chapter of the AAUP met for more than three hours Sunday.
