More than 30 Wright State retirees gathered on August 12 to enjoy an excellent German dinner at the recently opened Carillon Brewing Co. located adjacent to Carillon Historical Park.

The State of Ohio designated the third Friday of every October as Ohio Poetry Day in 1938, the first state to dedicate a day for poetry; eventually many other states followed suit.
