Beavercreek Senior Center seeks seminar presenters

Beavercreek Senior Center

In May the Beavercreek Senior Center introduced a new free Lifelong Learning Program. The program is designed to give center members intellectually stimulating and entertaining seminars. There are no tests or educational requirements. Seminars cover such subjects as art, current events, health, history, literature, music, science, travel, the internet and mobile devices.

Seminars will be provided four times a year in May, August, November and February. Seminar length varies from one hour to six hours extending over a three-week period. Initial seminars have been very positively received.

Although the program is independent from the local universities, moderators from the University of Dayton, Sinclair Community College, Clark State Community College and Wright State University are participating.

If you are interested in presenting a subject at the Beavercreek Senior Center, contact Jim Waite at (937) 269-2371 or marjim6868@gmail.com. View the class schedule below for examples of seminars offered.
