The Wright State men’s basketball season will continue against Clemson.
The Raiders learned Sunday night they are a No. 7 seed in the NIT and will face the No. 2 seed Tigers at 7 p.m. on Tuesday on ESPNU.
(The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday night but changed shortly after the bracket was released.)
The winner will play the winner of a game between No. 3 Furman and No. 6 Wichita State in the second round.
Joining those teams in the Raiders’ region are No. 1 Indiana, which faces No. 8 St. Francis (Pa.) and No. 4 Providence, which will host No. 5 Arkansas.
Wright State’s matchup means reuniting with a familiar face: Clemson coach Brad Brownell was 84-45 as head coach of the Raiders from 2006-10.
He has been at Clemson ever since, compiling a record of 168-126.
The Wright State women’s team, winner of both the regular season and tournament championships in the Horizon League, will find out its NCAA tournament opponent on Monday night.
That includes a 19-13 mark this year when the Tigers finished tied for eighth in the ACC.
