Wright State University students and alumni are gearing up to celebrate the Raiders’ first NCAA tournament men’s basketball game since 2018.
Wright State will play fellow 16th seed Bryant at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a First Four game at UD Arena. Tickets to the game are available only through Ticketmaster and the NCAA. The game will be broadcast on Tru TV.
WSU student body president Jonathan Ciero said many students are still trying to get tickets to this Wednesday’s game. But he said he knew there would be a lot of alumni at the games, who are the “true core group of supporters” for Wright State basketball.
“Students are excited,” Ciero said. “I mean, they’re pumped up. It was a big win.”

The tailgate will feature free food, a cash bar, spirit giveaways, performances from the cheer/dance teams, pep band and an appearance by WSU’s mascot Rowdy.
