Wright State University announced Tuesday that its plan for the 2020-21 academic year will be announced by the end of June.
The university has gradually welcomed back researchers to campus following the proper safety protocols, required training and documentation, according to a campus message.
Plans are in the works for the return of more employees, as well as opening other campus operations and resuming athletic practices.
Wright State will follow the state of Ohio’s protocols involving masks, social distancing, health assessments and sanitation.
University officials said the next academic year will be unique.
“As has been the governing principle since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety and wellness of our students and employees has been our number one priority and always will be as we make our decisions moving forward,” said Susan Edwards, president of Wright State University, said in the campus email.
