Lowell Oscar Batten, 91, of Miamisburg passed away on Jan. 28, 2024. He was born in Greenville, Ohio, on Dec. 8, 1932, to the late Noel Orlando and Cecil Fay Batten. In addition to his parents, Lowell is preceded in death by his siblings, Wanda Batten, Claude Batten, Noel Batten Jr., Alberta Cozad, Richard Batten, Karen Oswalt and Clifford Batten.
Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara; children, Tom Batten, Deborah (Dave) Richardson, Elizabeth (Dave) Pickrel; grandchildren, Christian James Batten and Jonathan David Richardson; along with many other family and friends.
Lowell retired from Wright State Motor Pool Department. He enjoyed watching OSU football, camping and spending time with his family. Lowell will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Lowell's memory to Hospice of Dayton. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
