Wright State University is restructuring and adding several programs to their academic catalog.
According to a press release from the university, Wright State will offer two new undergraduate degree programs as well as five restructured programs.
New programs include the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology program — which will be offered by the College of Engineering and Computer Science — and the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, a joint program between the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Science and Mathematics.
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology will help students prep for careers in “automated manufacturing, quality control, product development and design, field service engineering and systems engineering.” Most of the program can be completed online.
The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies will help students develop their skills for careers in “environmental management, law, education, public policy, communications, conservation and environmental restoration planning.”
Two reconstructed programs will replace the Bachelor of Science in Education in Sports Science.
