Wright State University is upping police presence as officers continue their search for a sexual assault suspect.

On Tuesday, someone reportedly assaulted a student on Wright State’s campus. The police report shows the incident occurred between 7 and 8 p.m.

Police describe the suspect as an overweight, middle-aged white male. He was seen wearing green pants and a Led Zeppelin shirt before fleeing from Boston Hall on Springwood Ave.

Students say they are shaken up by Tuesday’s incident but are happy to see the university’s response and additional security made available.

One student, Hannah Geis, says she’s remaining on high alert following the incident.

“Every time I’ve been even walking by myself, I usually feel pretty safe. Like I don’t really have too much of concern for myself. There’s always that cautious caution that you always have to be aware of, but it’s a little less here at Wright State,” said Geis.
