Wright State University will suspend face-to-face classes beginning tonight at midnight until at least March 30, the university announced Tuesday.
“All face-to-face classes and the face-to-face components of mostly and partially online classes that were scheduled to meet for the rest of this week are suspended as of midnight tonight, March 10,” the university said. “. Faculty members should use the rest of this week to prepare their courses for remote delivery starting next week”
The decision was a move the university said was proactive to protect the health and well-being of students and employees.
“I want to emphasize that no cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Wright State's Dayton and Lake campuses,” WSU President Sue Edwards said.
Classes that are fully online and the online components of mostly and partially online classes will continue as scheduled, according to a statement from the university.
Classes at Wright State will begin using remote learning through Pilot beginning on Monday, March 16. Remote learning will be in place until at least March 30, university officials said.
